Pitcher of the Year Award Goes to Columbia Hurler

The Columbia clubhouse staff referred to him as "the kid" this season. Next year Tobías Pérez will have to have a new nickname. He earned it after winning the 2021 M3L Single A Pitcher of the Year Award.
Pérez made 21 starts this year, winning 11 and losing 8. He threw 163 innings, fanned 176, allowed 131 hits and 39 walks, while holding opposing teams to a .214 average as he logged an impressive 2.10 ERA.
Manny Pérez of the Columbia River Rats finished second in voting, while Stanton Miranda of the Mt. Vernon Bulls finished third.
