River Rats Pérez Dominates Dragoons Saturday, July 31st, 2021 In an excellent mound performance, Manny Pérez of the Columbia River Rats whitewashed the Louisiana Dragoons 8-0 on a 4-hitter. He said after the game, "I had my best stuff and did a good job of mixing up my pitches." The Louisiana manager said, "We just didn't swing the bats well today. Pérez did a good job keeping us guessing." In all, the Columbia hurler rang up 10 strikeouts and no walks in the shutout win. So far this season Pérez has a record of 6-9 with 134 strikeouts and 21 walks in 134.1 innings and a 2.08 ERA. |
