Dodgers Cruise to PLGC with Sweep Tuesday, September 28th, 2021 The Richardson City Thundercats were simply over matched by the Brooklyn Dodgers in the Play-In. The end result was a sweep, as Brooklyn has cruised to the PLGC, with the final win coming at The Thunder Dome by a score of 3-0. "We're clicking and running on an all cylinders at the moment. We're a dangerous team when we play like this," said Ray Sears, who was named MVP of the Play-In. For the series, Sears hit .462 with a .462 on-base percentage. He had 3 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 3 runs. The Brooklyn Dodgers will play against the Boston Patriots in the next round. Boston won their series against the Buckhead Bowties 3 games to 0.
