Boston Sweeps into the PLGC Tuesday, September 28th, 2021 Depending which team you are a fan of, the Play-In was either thrilling, or devastating. There wasn't much of a fight put up, with the Boston Patriots exciting their fans with a 3-0 sweep of the Buckhead Bowties, whose fan base is no doubt left aggravated with the end result. "We're in good shape going into the PLGC," said Boston pitcher Tom Reynolds, after his team won the final game by a 1-0 count. "If we play like this going forward, we'll definitely win the PLGC." Reynolds earned series MVP honors, with a 1.76 ERA over 15.1 innings pitched, with a 2-0 record. The Boston Patriots don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Richardson City Thundercats - Brooklyn Dodgers series. Brooklyn leads the series 2 games to 0. The PLGC schedule will be announced after the Play-In finishes. |
