George Valentine Calls it a Career Monday, September 6th, 2021 In the world of baseball, George Valentine of the California Oceanliners said he feels "over the hill." So at age 42, the left fielder has announced that he will call it a career at year's end. "There's always someone younger coming up behind you and in my case there aren't really any people older, so it's time to get out," he said. During his career Valentine has notched 265 hits and a .305 average with 62 home runs and 185 RBIs. |
