PAA Announces Outstanding Pitcher Award Saturday, October 3rd, 2020 The Outstanding Pitcher Award for 2020 has been presented and the USPL Double A winner is Ezio Deodato of Sacramento. "It's always nice to receive an award like this," said Deodato. "I just hope I can improve on my performance next year and be in the running again," the Whitecaps star told reporters. Deodato excelled with an impressive 8-2 record in 11 starts. In 86 innings he yielded 70 hits and 27 walks, while striking out 73 and compiling a fine 1.78 ERA. Austin Stewart of the Springfield Shooters finished second in voting, while Hank Downey of the Springfield Shooters finished third. |
