25-Game Hitting Streak for Douglas Wednesday, July 29th, 2020 Thatcher Douglas ran his hitting streak to 25 straight games today at Whitecaps Park, when he collected 1 hit in 1 at-bat. "Hey, the streak is great. I hope it never ends. But I'm not happy when we lose the game," was his comment after Athletic Club KC Academy was beaten 4-1 by the Sacramento Whitecaps. "The scoreboard tells the whole story." Thatcher Douglas walked in the 1st, walked in the 3rd and singled in the 6th. So far this year Douglas is batting .330 with 7 home runs. |
