Parker Goes on Rampage Against Cherokees Tuesday, June 2nd, 2020 At Field of the Rawhides Tracy Parker of the Belvedere Park Rawhides put on a hitting clinic today against Nortonville. He banged out 5 hits in 5 at-bats and mauled Cherokees pitching, but came up short in the win department. In spite of his standout 5-hit performance, the Cherokees captured the game by the score of 5-4. "Hey, it's great to get that many hits in a game, but it would have been nice to win the game, too," were his words in the postgame interview. Tracy Parker singled in the 1st, hit an RBI triple in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. In 21 games this year Parker has posted a .289 average and put up these numbers: no home runs, 11 RBIs and 10 runs scored. |
