Atlantic City Hurler Wins 3AA Outstanding Hitter Award Saturday, October 3rd, 2020 If he wasn't already a household name in M3L Double A, Carlos Sánchez of the Atlantic City Sonics certainly is now. He has a bright future ahead of him after today being named the winner of the 2020 M3L Double A Outstanding Hitter Award, at the age of only 19. "I feel like I'm getting better all the time, so I'm looking forward to the years to come," said the ace, who this year put up a 10-3 record. Overall, Sánchez made 25 starts and pitched 182 innings, racking up 167 strikeouts with 57 walks and a 2.08 ERA. Jesús Cabañe of the Atlantic City Sonics finished second in voting, while Mark Tucker of the Yakima Hops finished third. |
