League Gives Perrin Suspension
Wednesday, September 2nd, 2020
The league has issued a 3-game suspension to Farmers right fielder Michel Perrin for his bad conduct yesterday at the Lancaster-Atlantic City game at Farmers Field. Perrin was tossed out of the game for heatedly questioning a third-strike call. Once the home plate umpire ejected him, Perrin ran over to argue more, even though the umpire warned him specifically, "Don't you come over here."
Perrin then retreated to the dugout, where he threw several bats onto the field and followed with a toss of an athletic trainer's bag. Later, Perrin ran out of the clubhouse tunnel to continue arguing -- a big no-no for a player who has already been thrown out.
In the 2020 season Perrin is hitting .288 with 4 home runs.
