Doubledays Chill Torres's Hot Streak Wednesday, September 2nd, 2020 Tremont brought Alberto Torres's hitting spree to a screeching halt today in its 5-4 victory over Phoenix at Thunderbirds Stadium. The Doubledays mound staff snapped the 22-year-old right fielder's hitting streak at 30 games. Torres failed to get a hit in 4 at-bats to end it. So far this year Torres has hit .285 with 16 home runs, 60 RBIs and 56 runs scored. |
