SAAA Player of the Week Goes to Riggs of Royse City Monday, August 31st, 2020 So far in his young career, Steve Riggs has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the USSL Triple A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 24-year-old Royse City Targaryens right fielder hit at a torrid .438 clip as he collected 7 hits in 16 at-bats, 3 home runs, 9 RBIs and 4 runs scored. This season Riggs is batting .227 with 34 hits, 14 home runs, 34 RBIs, 18 walks, .314 OBP and has scored 24 runs. He has played in 43 games. |
