Vega to Miss 6 Months Sunday, July 5th, 2020 José Vega will have to wait a while longer. The Bay City starting pitcher was informed this afternoon that he will miss another 6 months with shoulder inflammation. The injury has kept him off the field since 07/02/2020. Though Vega had hoped to return soon, he has no choice but to be patient. "Gotta stay focused," he said. "Gotta stay positive."
