Hayes Tosses Shutout Friday, July 3rd, 2020 The Athletic Club KC Reserves met their match today in Oceanside hurler Wayne Hayes. He kept them guessing the whole game and spun a 3-hit shutout. "He just worked us over," the Athletic Club KC skipper said. "He probably didn't even take a shower after the game. I don't think he even worked up a sweat. They could probably pitch him again tomorrow." In the 5-0 victory Hayes whiffed 7 and gave up no walks. |
