Bright Goes 5-for-5 Friday, June 5th, 2020 On top of the Salt Lake City hit parade today was Raymond Bright. He went to the plate 5 times and marched away with 5 hits, sparking the Buzz to a 6-3 victory over the Bloomington Longnecks. The sweet swinging shortstop told reporters, "Each time I went to the plate, I was thinking about hitting the ball hard somewhere. When I focus on that, I usually have quality at-bats." The skipper of the Longnecks wailed to the press, "Too much plate. Not the way we planned it. Any hitter in the league will rip you when you do that." Raymond Bright doubled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. This season in 28 games, Bright has hit at a .245 clip with 27 hits, 1 home run, 15 RBIs and 14 runs scored. |
