Great Year Gets Kato PAAA Outstanding Hitter Award Wednesday, October 7th, 2020 The future looks extremely bright for Tamasaburo Kato. At the age of 20, many players are still trying to find their way in USPL Triple A. Kato has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the USPL Triple A Outstanding Hitter Award. "I didn't expect to hit .338 this year, that's for sure," the third baseman said. The Bakersfield Nobles start also put up a .401 on-base percentage this year, with 131 hits, 40 doubles, 1 triple, 9 home runs, 70 RBIs and 66 runs scored. Emery Miller of the Bakersfield Nobles finished second in voting, while Mito Rin of the Bay City Bombers finished third. |
