Raśl Areola Gets Diagnosis, Out 4 Months Saturday, September 19th, 2020 Raśl Areola will have to wait a while longer. The Naperville starting pitcher was informed this afternoon that he will miss another 4 months with a partially torn labrum. The injury has kept him off the field since 09/16/2020. Though Areola had hoped to return soon, he has no choice but to be patient. "Gotta stay focused," he said. "Gotta stay positive." Checking out his stats for the season, Areola has notched 3 wins and 7 losses in 14 starts, 4.24 ERA and struck out 118 batters in 97.2 innings. |
