USPL Triple A Names Kato Best Batter Monday, September 14th, 2020 Tamasaburo Kato burst onto the USPL Triple A stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie third baseman for Bakersfield garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 20-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .538 (7-for-13) with 1 home run and 7 RBIs last week. Presently Kato is batting .348 and has collected 9 home runs, 68 RBIs, .413 OBP and scored 66 runs. |
