Player of the Week: Bay City's Martínez Monday, August 17th, 2020 At the age of 31, Barry Martínez might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Bay City left fielder put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .467 batting average. For his efforts Martínez collected the USPL Triple A Player of the Week Award. He racked up 7 hits in 15 at-bats, 1 home run and 3 RBIs last week in 4 games. So far this season, Martínez has recorded a .272 batting average with 61 hits, 4 home runs, 28 RBIs, 18 runs scored and a .323 OBP. |
