Hatcher Bags 3AAA Best Player Award Monday, July 27th, 2020 In the twilight of his career, 35-year-old Jack Hatcher of Augusta recaptured some of the old magic last week and came away with the M3L Triple A Player of the Week Award. "I've been playing since I was a kid," Hatcher told reporters, "but you're never too old to feel the thrill of success." Hatcher outpaced the rest of the league's hitters last week, reeling off 4 hits in 8 at-bats, 3 home runs, and 8 RBIs to stake his claim to the award. For the year Hatcher has hit at a .375 clip with 18 RBIs, 4 home runs and 14 runs scored. |
