Strickland on Fire, Named Player of the Week Monday, July 20th, 2020 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the M3L Triple A, but last week Tom Strickland of the Augusta Timber Hawks reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Strickland rocked opposing pitching for a .500 average (10-for-20), 2 home runs and 11 RBIs to come away with the award. Batting .312 to date, Strickland has 4 home runs and 22 RBIs. |
