Godet Shines in Gem Thursday, July 16th, 2020 "He was too darn good for us today," grumbled the Scranton manager after his club suffered a 5-0 shutout at the hands of Aurélien Godet of the Lévis Rocks. He held the Scranton Supernovas scoreless in a 4-hit whitewash. Godet was in a zone of his own most of the game and finished with no strikeouts and 2 walks in a strong outing. In a postgame quote his own skipper added, "He pitched his butt off, had good velocity, good movement and had those guys off balance. Aurélien did a whale of a pitching job." This season Godet has made no relief appearances, pitched 69.2 innings and struck out 43 with a record of 5 wins and 4 losses. He has compiled a 5.04 ERA and saved 0 games. |
