Carlson on Fire: 5-5 for Gryfindor Friday, September 20th, 2019 Gryfindor defeated Vermont today at Monster Field. The highlight of the game was center fielder Jay Carlson. His hitting heroics included a 5-5 day, paving the way for a Braves 12-5 triumph over the Lake Monsters. Jay Carlson hit a two-run triple in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, walked in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th. For the season Carlson is hitting .411, batted in 20 runs with 7 home runs and 21 runs scored. |
