3AAA's #1 Player, Young of Wilmington Monday, August 31st, 2020 It was some kind of week for Denny Young of the Wilmington Bay Hawks. First he hits the heck out of the ball, ripping it at a .556 clip and the next thing you know, he is voted the Player of the Week in the M3L Triple A. Last week Young went 10-for-18, chalked up no home runs and 5 RBIs and scored 4 runs. Not a bad week's work at all. This year Young is hitting at a .365 pace with 14 home runs and 68 RBIs. He has played in 81 games and scored 44 times. |
