3AAA Honors Scranton Center Fielder Monday, August 24th, 2020 So far in his young career, Francisco Ortega has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the M3L Triple A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 22-year-old Scranton Supernovas center fielder hit at a torrid .500 clip as he collected 13 hits in 26 at-bats, no home runs, 5 RBIs and 7 runs scored. To date Ortega has chalked up a .276 average with no home runs, driven in 39 runs and scored 37 times. |
