Player of the Week: Vermont's Carney Monday, August 10th, 2020 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the M3L Triple A, but last week Dale Carney of the Vermont Lake Monsters reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Carney rocked opposing pitching for a .450 average (9-for-20), 3 home runs and 10 RBIs to come away with the award. Thus far this season Carney has hit .264 with 16 home runs, 52 RBIs and scored 29 times. |
