Dempsey Shuts out Humpbacks Wednesday, August 5th, 2020 John Dempsey of the Balboa Buccaneers was masterful today, pitching a 3-hit 3-0 shutout against the Alaskan Humpbacks and giving his bullpen a rest by going the distance. According to his manager, "He had command of every ball and every pitch... great location, too." Dempsey had 4 strikeouts and issued 2 walks in an impressive outing. This season to date Dempsey has a record of 5 wins and 5 losses with a 4.05 ERA, has appeared in 14 games and struck out 69 in 95.2 innings. |
