2020 SL Outstanding Pitcher Award Announced Friday, October 9th, 2020 High-pressure game situations don't seem to affect Dave Reed, the bullpen ace of the Richardson City Thundercats. This season he was regularly put to the test and regularly made quick work of the opposition. In recognition of his dominance, the Silver League today presented the 2020 Outstanding Pitcher Award to him. Reed appeared in 61 games and converted 26 saves in 31 save opportunities. The Thundercats star had a 7-2 mark with a 0.90 ERA. He also chalked up 85 strikeouts and walked 18 in 70.1 innings of work. Jesús Gonzáles of the Richardson City Thundercats finished second in voting, while Juan Chávez of the Lexington Lemmings finished third. |
