Monday, September 21st, 2020
The future looks extremely bright for Scotty Anderson. At the age of 21, many players are still trying to find their way in USPL Single A.
Anderson has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the USPL Single A Most Valuable Player Award.
"I didn't expect to hit .313 this year, that's for sure," the catcher said.
The Syracuse Storm start also put up a .371 on-base percentage this year, with 102 hits, 29 doubles, no triples, 10 home runs, 55 RBIs and 39 runs scored.
Mario Ramos of the Syracuse Storm finished second in voting, while Eddie Flynn of the Hammond Herons finished third.
