Torres Spins 15-K Game Wednesday, September 2nd, 2020 Ernest Torres of the Mt. Vernon Bulls really put on a pitching clinic today at Ballpark of Mt. Vernon as he struck out 15 Washington Generals in a 7-2 victory. Torres was simply magnificent as he held the Generals to 6 hits. He walked 1. "My fastball was okay," Torres said, "but my breaking stuff really hurt them. I also have to thank my catcher for calling a great game." When asked about Torres's performance, the Bulls manager shook his head and said, "Yeah, he was pretty good out there today. He was dominating today." This year Torres has compiled a 9-4 record with a 2.26 ERA. |
