Palácios to Miss 5-6 Months Saturday, September 5th, 2020 Júlio Palácios will have to wait a while longer. The Myrtle Beach closer was informed this afternoon that he will miss another 5-6 months with a torn labrum. The injury has kept him off the field since 09/03/2020. Though Palácios had hoped to return soon, he has no choice but to be patient. "Gotta stay focused," he said. "Gotta stay positive." This year Palácios has made 2 relief appearances, pitched 122.1 innings, and fashioned a 6-8 record with a 2.80 ERA. He has recorded no saves, struck out 135, and allowed opposing clubs to hit .241 when he is on the hill. |
