Palácios Named Top 3A Hurler Tuesday, September 1st, 2020 Any time a rookie makes a splash on the scene, it's got to be great for his career potential. Just ask Júlio Palácios, who put together a stellar month out of the pen. The Myrtle Beach Seahawks closer, 21, kept the opposition off balance all month as he held them to a .179 average and walked away with the M3L Single A Pitcher of the Month award for August. Palácios posted a 3-1 mark and a 1.32 ERA in no relief appearances. In 41 innings, he had no saves, 41 strikeouts, and 8 walks. Palácios has worked 121 innings in 2 relief appearances thus far this season and picked up no saves. He has dished out 133 strikeouts and walked 36 with a 6-8 mark and a 2.83 ERA. |
