Palácios Hurls Myrtle Beach to Shutout Win Monday, August 31st, 2020 In an excellent mound performance, Júlio Palácios of the Myrtle Beach Seahawks whitewashed the Alameda Airmen 10-0 on a 6-hitter. He said after the game, "I had my best stuff and did a good job of mixing up my pitches." The Alameda manager said, "We just didn't swing the bats well today. Palácios did a good job keeping us guessing." In all, the Myrtle Beach hurler rang up 6 strikeouts and no walks in the shutout win. Up to this point in the season, Palácios has fashioned a 6-8 won-lost mark, made 2 relief appearances and rung up no saves. He has a 2.83 ERA and has allowed 112 hits over his 121 innings of work, struck out 133 batters and walked 36. |
