Wood Tames Caterpillars Sunday, August 30th, 2020 Belleville hurler Theodore Wood was at his best as he whitewashed the Grand Forks Caterpillars 7-0 today. "He just kept the ball down, did a good job, made his pitches," said the Grand Forks manager. "We didn't do a good job making adjustments, so we helped him out a little bit." Wood fired a 6-hitter and totaled 4 strikeouts and 1 walk in the shutout performance. This year Wood has gone 5-6 with an ERA of 4.92 and has 73 strikeouts in 100.2 innings. |
