Parker Holds Myrtle Beach Scoreless Tuesday, August 18th, 2020 The Kennesaw manager told reporters after the game, "When he started out, his command wasn't that good, but he's a tough guy. The more pitches he throws, the better his command is." He was talking about Dominic Parker, who had just hurled a fine 4-hit shutout over the Myrtle Beach Seahawks. He had 11 strikeouts and 1 walk in the Kennesaw 3-0 victory. "An outstanding job," the Myrtle Beach manager said. "We couldn't get anything going. Every time we got a hit, he got out of the jam. He pitched a terrific game." This year Parker has earned no saves, worked 130.2 innings, fanned 170 hitters and recorded a 2.20 ERA. He has also put up a 8-6 won-lost mark. |
