Ríos Tops UAA Best Batter List Wednesday, October 16th, 2019 There's something special about a guy who can stride up to the plate and put the ball anywhere -- in the stands, off the wall, into the gap, down the third base line. You name the place and Juan Ríos probably put it there on his way to winning the USPL Double A Outstanding Hitter Award for 2019. The Westwood left fielder belted out 128 hits in compiling a .323 batting average and racked up 24 doubles, 1 triple, 21 home runs, 71 RBIs and 69 runs scored.Stephen Yates of the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles finished second in voting, while Luis Antonio Hernández of the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles finished third. |
