Premier Batter Named by USSL Double A Tuesday, October 15th, 2019 Micah Miller of the Gurdon Pelicans had a fine season this year and today he accepted the Outstanding Hitter Award for 2019. The 22-year-old right fielder put up a .403 average and a .463 on-base percentage, piling up 106 hits, 16 doubles, 3 triples, 15 home runs, 64 RBIs and 66 runs scored.Alex Maxwell of the Gurdon Pelicans finished second in voting, while Bartolo Benítez of the Huntington Beach Surf finished third. |
