Outstanding Pitcher Award Goes to Gurdon Hurler Monday, October 14th, 2019 23-year-old Shawn Arnold of the Gurdon Pelicans put together a good year in 2019 for such a young player. Arnold was named today as the winner of the USSL Double A Outstanding Pitcher Award. Arnold crafted an impressive 7-2 record and a 3.75 ERA. In 62.1 innings he allowed 64 hits, struck out 77, and walked 22.Hirokichi Kichida of the Lannister United Lionhearts finished second in voting, while Lester Sullivan of the Gurdon Pelicans finished third. |
