Swallows Halt Robinson's Hit Streak Monday, August 19th, 2019 The Sun Prairie Swallows got more than a 2-1 victory over Huntington Beach today at Surf Ballpark. They put an end to Warner Robinson's 25-game hitting spree by holding him without a hit in 3 at-bats. But it was no big deal to the Surf shortstop. Robinson seemed to feel more for his team than himself. "I had some great looks at some pitches that I should have hit. I missed some that I shouldn't have swung at. All in all, I wasn't much help with the bat today." So far this season Robinson is batting .341 with 8 home runs. |
