USSL Double A Announces July's Best Batter Thursday, August 1st, 2019 Jesús Pérez put together a good July to earn the USSL Double A Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to Chesapeake officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The Continentals left fielder posted a .371 batting average with 5 home runs, 23 RBIs and 17 runs scored. Batting .336 to date, Pérez has 8 home runs and 34 RBIs. |
