Pyramids Chill Magana's Hot Streak Wednesday, July 31st, 2019 The Paynesville Pyramids got more than a 9-3 victory over Remsen today at Ballpark of Remsen. They put an end to José Magana's 22-game hitting spree by holding him without a hit in 4 at-bats. But it was no big deal to the Alphas catcher. Magana seemed to feel more for his team than himself. "I had some great looks at some pitches that I should have hit. I missed some that I shouldn't have swung at. All in all, I wasn't much help with the bat today." So far this year Magana is batting .302 with 5 home runs, 40 RBIs and 22 runs scored. |
