Bad Behavior Costs May and Unknown Monday, July 15th, 2019 You would have thought you were at a hockey game yesterday at Chesapeake Grounds. A free-for-all broke out when Cliff May of Chesapeake and Jim Unknown of Sun Prairie rushed one another on the field and had to be restrained by umpires and teammates. Few blows landed, but it was enough for them to be ejected from the game. Today both teams received notification from the league office that the two players would be suspended for 10 games. This year May is batting .261 with 42 hits, 1 home run, 12 RBIs, 24 walks, .365 OBP and has scored 30 runs. |
