Martínez Bags UAA Best Player Award Monday, June 24th, 2019 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the USSL Double A, but last week Manuel Martínez of the Remsen Alphas reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Martínez rocked opposing pitching for a .571 average (8-14), 2 home runs and 3 RBIs to come away with the award. In the 2019 season Martínez is hitting .297 with 6 home runs. |
