Cameron Wins MAA Player of the Week Honors Monday, August 5th, 2019 22-year-old Wayne Cameron made a few Battle Ground headlines during this past week as the rookie center fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and M3L Double A officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 12 hits in 32 at-bats to put up a .375 average. Cameron collected 4 home runs, 13 RBIs and scored 11 runs. Presently Cameron is hitting .324 with 21 home runs and 58 RBIs. He has played in 58 games and scored 56 times. |
