Muñóz: Big Hit in the M3L Double A Monday, July 1st, 2019 17-year-old Sergio Muñóz made a few Nortonville headlines during this past week as the rookie right fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and M3L Double A officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 13 hits in 25 at-bats to put up a .520 average. Muñóz collected no home runs, 6 RBIs and scored 4 runs. So far this season Muñóz is hitting .322 with 5 home runs, 24 RBIs and 18 runs scored. He has 48 hits in 149 at-bats and a .357 OBP. |
