Moore on a Hot Streak, 2AAA Player of the Week Monday, September 2nd, 2019 Gil Moore burst onto the League 2 AAA stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie catcher for Jersey City garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 23-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .500 (8-16) with 3 home runs and 5 RBIs last week. So far on the season Moore is hitting .379 with 5 home runs, 15 RBIs and 12 runs scored. He has 22 hits and played in 14 games. |
