2019 1AAA Top Hitter Trophy Given to Mitchell Saturday, October 19th, 2019 Wherever Matt Mitchell signs on next year, the left fielder will be hauling home a good paycheck after the impressive season he just wrapped up. Mitchell received word of his League 1 AAA Outstanding Hitter Award selection earlier today. That should make him a valuable commodity for next year. In 2019 he boasted a .376 average and a .450 on-base percentage as he piled up 97 hits, 8 doubles, no triples, 32 home runs, 84 RBIs and 74 runs scored.Emery Miller of the Bakersfield Nobles finished second in voting, while Lonnie Conrad of the Tortolita Drummers finished third. |
