Miller Bags 1AAA Best Player Award Monday, September 16th, 2019 A hot-hitting week got Emery Miller the League 1 AAA Player of the Week trophy. He really wore out his welcome with league pitchers. The Bakersfield right fielder slammed them for a .750 average, 3 hits in 4 at-bats, 2 home runs, 2 RBIs and scored 3 runs. In the postgame press conference, Miller shared his hitting philosophy with the BNN scribes: "Just look for the seams and hit between them... nothin' more than that." This season Miller is hitting .346 with 94 hits, 28 home runs, 78 RBIs, scored 65 runs and played in 73 games. |
