Morgan Wins 1AAA's Best Bat Award Sunday, September 1st, 2019 When Joey Morgan stepped up to the plate in August, he did it with confidence and today he was honored with the League 1 AAA Batter of the Month award. The young Tortolita left fielder posted a .395 batting average with 11 home runs, 33 RBIs and scored 22 runs. Morgan also worked pitchers for 5 walks to post a .436 on-base percentage. Thus far this season in 25 games Morgan is batting .379 with 12 home runs, 36 RBIs and 24 runs scored. He has 39 hits in 103 at-bats. |
