Ramos on Fire, 5-5 Against Pawnee Tuesday, August 13th, 2019 There are moments in a player's career that are etched into their memories forever. António Ramos of the Phoenix Hotspur Reserves had one of those moments when he went 5 for 5 at the plate today in the 18-7 win over the Pawnee ParksNRec at Whips Ballpark. The 26-year-old second baseman told reporters in the postgame interview, "This is a day I won't forget soon, but I'll settle to just get a hit or two every day... enough hits to hang around the league a little bit longer... like 10... 15 more years maybe." António Ramos doubled in the 2nd, doubled in the 3rd, hit an RBI triple in the 5th, walked in the 6th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. In 71 games this season Ramos is batting .329 with 91 hits and 17 home runs. He has scored 53 runs and driven in 64. |
